CDISC Portal

Recommended Browser

CDISC portal works best on Internet Explorer 7 and higher. Other browsers supported with limitations are Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Chrome. Visit this link from Microsoft for further information about the browsers supported.

Recommended Internet Explorer Browser Settings

  • Go to Control Panel-> Internet Properties -> Security tab (or) Go to the browser settings -> Security tab
    • Click Sites -> Click Advanced
    • Add the portal URL to Local Intranet
    • Uncheck 'Enable protected mode' for working with the explorer view.
  • Upon utilizing the "Open In Explorer" button shown in the ribbon; please allow few seconds for the operation to complete and please make a second attempt if the first attempt fails.
  • Install Silverlight

Microsoft Office Recommendations

The portal works best with Office 2010. However, it also works with Office 2003 and Office 2007 with some of the features not available being:

  • Microsoft SharePoint Workspace to work with documents offline.
  • The ability to co-author the same document or share a Microsoft Office OneNote notebook
